Clyde Jenkins

Clyde Jenkins, age 87, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home. Born Thursday, January 8, 1931in Highland, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Laura Gaines Jenkins. Clyde was the widower of the late Georgia Reynolds Jenkins, whom he married December 23, 1959 and preceded him in death January 5, 2010. Clyde was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Korean War, worked a mechanic and a farmer. He attended Pleasant View Baptist church, enjoyed telling stories, doing mechanic work and hunting. 

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jenkins of Waynesburg; granddaughter, Rebecca Branham (Jon) of Waynesburg; and three great grandchildren, Joseph, Noah and Joshua Branham, all of Waynesburg.

In addition to his wife of 50 years and parents, Clyde was preceded in death by two brothers, Russel Jenkins and Delbert Jenkins; and two sisters, Mary Webster and Jewell Wilder.

Cremation Rites have been honored and a private burial will follow at Highland Methodist Cemetery.
