Brian Scott Denney

Brian Scott Denney, age 43, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in Chicago.  Born Friday, January 17, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Vernon and Ellen Hogue Denney.  Brian was a former member of Waynesburg Pentecostal Church, had obtained an Associate’s degree, attended three years of college, and had a passion for geology.  In his spare time he enjoyed hiking, biking, skateboarding, and loved the outdoors.
Brian leaves behind his parents, Vernon and Ellen Denney of Waynesburg; one daughter, Taylor Denney of Chicago, Illinois; his ex-wife, Laura Roman Denney of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters, Sara Liming (Shannon) of Zolfo Spring, Florida, and Alisha and Chelsea Denney of Waynesburg; two brothers, Jacob and Jonathan of Waynesburg; two nieces, Savannah and Emily Liming of Zolfo Springs, Florida; and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
A  Memorial Service will be held 1-4PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at Waynesburg Pentecostal Church.  Rev. Thomas Hogue and Ernie Wyatt will officiate the service.  Cremation Rites have been honored. 
The Funeral Service will be held 4:00PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at the church.  A Private burial will take place at Jacob’s Hill Cemetery in Waynesburg.
