Bobby L. Gooch

Bobby L. Gooch, 63, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Bobby was born on December 7, 1954 to Lena Gooch. Bobby loved the Lord, cherished his family, and enjoyed fishing and classic cars. Bobby loved to make people laugh. Bobby worked as a security guard at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center until he became ill. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Gooch; one sister Vangie Gastineau; one brother Leon Gooch; and one special niece, Donna Carman.

Bobby is survived by his wife whom he married on April 1, 2006, Robin (Royalty) Gooch. Three sons, Bobby Gooch Jr. (Alisha) of Moreland, Conley Gooch (Sharon) of Moreland, and Charles Baxter of Stanford. Bobby was a proud Papaw to his grandchildren, Markus Baxter, Charles Baxter II, McKenzie Baxter, Porshia Baxter, Patrick Gooch, Shelby Gooch, Courtney Gooch, Amber Gooch, Zoey Gooch, Ben Gooch; and one great grandchild, Brycen Baxter.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, November 9, 2018 at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Jones and Bro. Keith Bowling officiating the service. Burial will follow in KP Hall Cemetery. Larry Carroll, Bobby Maples, Larry Dalton, Matt Bowling, Kevin Russell, and Kenny Jones will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 5-9PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the church.
