I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Burton. I cannot count the number of times that I was at her house as she made so many clothes for me when I was growing up. It didn't matter what you wanted made, she could make it and make it beautifully. I always enjoyed my visits with her as she was always so kind and so nice and so full of good advice, even if I didn't listen to it. She will be so missed! My prayers to the family.

Cheryl & Bev, I didn't know till late this morning( was sick all night)
One of my happiest memories was to hear Dean & Orah's stories( I'd have you walk me halfway home)
Never! Did we have neighbors like Dean. She was always a generous, giving person. I want to remember her at her sewing machine telling us stories, where you'd have to walk me halfway home.
Some of my best memories are living next to the best neighbors anyone could wish for.
With our love & sympathy. Sherrel, Tam & Sam

Dear Bev & Cheryl,
I haven't been on Facebook in a while.
I went off one of my diets, & last night was sick all night.
I hope to call & come see you.
If it were possible to handpick a neighbor, Dean would have that one hands down,we had a lot of fun just talking to Orie & Dean about scary stories & I'd make you walk Tam & I across to the fence.
To all I send love & blessings in memory of this, one of a kind lady.
Love, Sherrel, Tam, & Samantha.
Call on us if we can help in any way.

Mrs Burton was a lovely lady. She was a great seamstress. My mother Bertha Ernst thought the so much if her. Another one if our citizens gone to heaven that was the thread of our community. I remember when she worked at Boone & Cave. Altered my suits.
