Garland was a wonderful Uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He loved Ardene and his children more than anything. He was the hardest working man I ever knew. He will be missed but he leaves behind a legacy of love and goodness. He was my uncle and I loved him and will miss him.

We went to church for several years with Bro. and Sis. Hicks, a wonderful, caring couple, they are such a blessing to people. Our deepest sympathy to the family , we pray for God to give them peace and comfort during this most difficult time.
